Pepper Attack Spices Up!
After almost two years of planning, the play-to-earn game Pepper Attack is closer than they have ever been to seeing “Pepperfam”, the fast-growing community following the games’ growth, move from the “hoping” to the “earning” phase!
Pepper Attack is an NFT based play-to-earn strategy game. The Pepperfam, owners of the “Mystic Pepper” NFTs, will work to stop the wicked Underlord and at the same time have the chance to earn the game token MYTE in various way along the way. Players use their Mystic Pepper NFTs to traverse the world, participating in fun, token earning activities that vary from daily mining activities, to more active missions that include player vs monster to player vs player.
So what’s changed? For a start, final arrangements have been initiated to partner with the blue-chip blockchain contract auditing company CERTIK. CERTIK is the leading security-focused ranking platform to analyze and monitor blockchain protocols and DeFi projects. What does that mean? It means that the Pepper Attack smart contract for its mining is being assured secure by the same team that audited the Binance and Polygon Networks, the Metaverse Sandbox platform, and other top rated blockchain projects.
But that’s only a tease. What it truly means to the Pepperfam, is that the code has been completed that will finally allow them to use their coveted Mystic Peppers NFTs to mine the much anticipated token MYTE. MYTE is the token that will power both the crypto game itself, due to fully launch in Q1 of 2022, as well as the rest of the upcoming game world. Since the waiting period for real earnings to begin has nearly ended, the Discord, that can be joined at https://discord.gg/pepperattack is buzzing with anticipation!
Three, Two, One…. GO!
The stage has now been set. The smart contract for the first earnings opportunity, mining, is waiting for its final “go-ok”! Second, the community is one of the finest and engaged in the industry. Third, another hot topic of late, has been the Pepper Attack move from the Ethereum Network to Polygon.
Ethereum has been blasted lately for both the growing gas fees to make a transaction and slower transition speeds. During prime times, fees have went over time from single digits to several hundred dollars, depending on how busy the network is. Answering the request of most users, Pepper Attack has recently moved “lock, stock and barrel” to Polygon.
This move would be welcomed, but not critical if the only savings were when an initial purchase of an NFT was processed. However, with the growing list of upcoming uses for both the MYTE token as well as the Pepper NFTs that power the game, it was realized that it would be a grave mistake not to spend the time and money to make the move. Unfortunately, a side effect of the move was the Pepperfam had to hold their breaths a little longer while waiting for the Polygon changes to be put in place. Fortunately, the Pepperfam was in full support of the move.
In addition to minting NFTs, the Polygon Network reduces the fees to purchase NFTs on the aftermarket, to collect earnings while playing the game, purchase from the upcoming Pepper Attack Marketplace, and even swap the new Pepper Art collection, of NFTs telling the story of the game’s lore in pictures. For these reasons and more, including the fact the game will send a large number of the MYTE token to the “OG” (or earlier) minters of the collectable NFTs for their patience, Pepperfam was in favor.
Finally, after waiting for the change to a new network, and then for one of the most respected (yet backed up time-wise) auditing firms to complete their work, the Pepperfam is getting its due. They’re excited both about the mining feature, as well as being one step closer to stepping into the game world! The interface seems to change and improve on a weekly basis, new functions and systems are slowly being put in place, and Pepper Attack seems to be emerging as a “sleeper”, and possible game to watch in 2022.
The Next Step? Gameplay!
Pepper Attack will feature both PVE and PVP rankings on its leaderboard. This will enable top players to earn extra bonuses like MYTE tokens, potions and boosts, and more. The game will also feature a PVP arena that will take advantage of the unique traits the Pepper NFTs enjoy. Each one has hit points, attack power, critical hit chance, a defense rating, and the chance to dodge.
All of the ducks seem to be lined up in a row, ready to move forward with it 2022 gameplay release. Rumors of “Lady Pepper” and “Peppermon” NFTs, as well as an expanded artwork collection and more seem to be closer to reality than conjecture. At this rate who knows what else is in store? Could there be land? NFT Clothing? Other forms of gameplay? Only time will tell…
If you still have a Mystic Pepper NFT on the Ethereum blockchain, it can be moved over to Polygon by clicking on “Bridge” on the official website of Pepper Attack, found www.pepperattack.com . You can transfer all of your NFTs in one transaction and your NFT will be cloned on the Polygon Network. You’ll be left with a Legend Medal NFT in its place on Ethereum.
