The 12 Days of Christmas Event Ends With a Visit from Santa!
As we ring in the New Year, with its own set of news and upcoming events planned, Pepper Attack wants to look back and recap what was an incredible holiday event on it’s own!
Hundreds of people in the Pepperfam participated in the “12 Days of Christmas” party that not only promised, but delivered fun, games, free NFTs, and profits. Each day throughout introduced a challenge that included poems, music, renaming Santa’s reindeer and other creative events. We also played games where winners were rewarded “snowballs”.
Each snowball earned through the 12 days added a name to an electronic weighted randomness Python hat, where winners were chosen randomly.
First through fifth place in total snowballs earned won a FREE Mystic Pepper NFT, valued at .15 ETH, now minting on the Pepper Attack website. This is the only NFT that can “mine” passively in the world, making its owner the token MYTE on a daily basis!
Additionally, then there were random drawings for 5 more Mystic Pepper NFTs, as well as 10 Homecoming NFTs, and 90,000 (ninety thousand!) MYTE tokens split equally between the next 30 winners! CONGRATULATIONS!
In addition to these winners, we also gave away 60 Mad Miner NFTs, and ALL Pepper Owners were airdropped either a Mad Miner or Mad Santa NFT as a gift from Santa Pepper! All in all, close to 1,000 free NFTs were airdropped to community members.
The Pepper Attack Team would like to give a special congratulations to all of the winners of this year’s Holiday Contest, as well as thank them for the incredible creativity shown by the more “craftier” contest submissions. “Personally, I couldn’t go through the list and not laugh each time I looked at the submissions”, said Deacon Z, one of the Pepper Team members.
Deacon of course, is talking about the re-written Christmas carols, Pepper Attack themed Christmas cards, poems, and other submissions. We saw a lot of effort put forth, a lot of fun and merriment, and we couldn’t be happier. Thanks to everyone who participated — we’re stoked to have you in the community, and can’t wait to see what the year 2022 brings!
After sifting through some submissions, we wanted to post a few examples. These are neither better or worse than any others, just some that stood out at the time this was written. There were so hundreds of submissions, and most were INCREDIBLE, but we couldn’t possibly include them all here, for obvious reasons!
